School Direct - Non-Salaried

A School Direct non-salaried course means that the school works in partnership with a range of providers, including some Higher Education Institutions to provide you with a QTS only or PGCE qualification.

The CTSN SCITT provides a non-salaried route for both primary and secondary phases to gain QTS .  For a full range of subjects which CTSN will offer in 2017/18 please click here.

Trainees on School Direct PGCE courses would be placed in one of our alliance schools for at least one placement, and we would work in partnership with the university in order to recruit candidates.

All applicants must apply through UCAS for all of our courses.  You can apply for training programmes starting in 2017 at the From October 18th 2016.
