Free Computing Hub CPD

Posted on: 4th December 2019

Saffron Walden County High School Hub are pleased to welcome experienced Computer Science teacher and examiner Anthea Hoverd, to lead a CPD workshop on functional programming and recursion for A level teachers.

Participants will explore pedagogical approaches, and how these might inform teaching functional programming. You will also learn how to use the teacher functions on the Isaac Computer Science platform, and how to make the most of the materials in your teaching schemes.

There will be time for networking with your peers over tea and cake at the event.

Who should attend?

Teacher CPD events are designed to help A level Computer Science teachers build their confidence and understanding of the subject. At each event, you’ll explore a computer science concept in depth, and you can easily adapt what you’ll learn for use in the classroom with your students. We’ll also show you how to use the teacher functions on the Isaac Computer Science platform.
