DETA - Developing Effective Teaching Assistants

About the programme  

Developing Effective Teaching Assistants is a newly developed programme aiming to support teaching assistants to develop their skills in a range of areas and maximise their impact and effectiveness when working with young people. 

Programme aims

The programme is not subject specific and aims to develop a range of strategies to promote learning:

  • Managing behaviour and attention
  • Developing literacy skills 
  • Developing numeracy skills
  • Talk for learning
  • Feedback and assessment for learning 

 

Cost and booking 

£175 per delegate, to include all resources, lunch and refreshments at all sessions.
