CTSN/IoE joint research programme “How do we know it works?” Leading curriculum change

A great deal is known about the importance and potential impact of leaders in schools, but the challenge remains of how to fulfil the role effectively in practice. Using evidence-informed strategies to evaluate impact UCL Institute of Education in collaboration with the CTSN R&D Network will run a development programme for Leaders of Curriculum Change. IoE’s Karen Spence-Thomas and Kate O’Shaughnessy, who has been part of the Ofsted team developing the new approach to curriculum evaluation, will lead this programme which will be particularly suitable for heads of department, subject leads and heads of key stages.
