FREE: Physics for Non Specialists Training Programme (TSST)
We are offering this succesful training programme aimed at improving subject knowledge of non- specialist teachers and those who wish to retrain as physics teachers starting 11 October 2018. 
There will be an optional 3 further sessions in June 2019 in which we will explore KS5 physics principles in more depth.
Venue: Comberton Village College
Dates: 7 Sessions commencing 5 November 2018
Time: First date is 9.30am-3.30pm, subsequent dates are 1.00pm - 6.00pm

Key Stage 3 science for non - science specialists
This programme has been designed flexibly allowing you to choose the sessions most relevant to your teaching.  All attendees will need to attend session one but further sessions can be selected to suit your needs.
 
Day two: KS3 physics for non - specialists
This course is suitable for teachers who are relatively inexperienced in teaching physics, or those looking to enhance and extend their skills and update their teaching strategies for physics.

Mathematics in science teaching
Exploring the use and failure to use mathematics in science.  The course looks at typical weaknesses in mathematics that hinder students' ability to understand and solve scientific problems.

Making a difference through effective feedback
