Cover Supervisor Programme
About the programme
This programme is aimed at members of support staff in a Cover Supervisor role, having had no formal teacher training. The programme is also suitable for Teaching Assistants interested in working as Cover Supervisors. The two day course introduces teaching and learning and shows delegates how they can begin to improve outcomes for students in cover lessons. The sessions are also designed to provide participants with a 'tool kit' to assist when lessons are less positive.

Programme structure
The programme comprises two targeted full day sessions over a two or three week period. Both sessions are delivered at Comberton Village College. Each day includes a full lesson observation with participants having the opportunity to observe a lesson led by a fully qualified teacher and, where possible, another led by an experienced Cover Supervisor.

Cost and Bookings
£150.00 per delegate, to include all resources, lunch and refreshments at both sessions.
Sessions will be hosted by Comberton Village College.
Timings for both sessions are 8.30am to 3.00pm.
